White patches with no pigmentation or coloration in them appear due to the destruction of melanocytes skin cells. Melanocytes cells are the tiny skin color production units in the skin.  Which produce a substance which is characterized as skin color called melanin. When melanocytes are damaged in any region of the body, in that part a deficiency of melanin cause depigmentation in skin.

 A famous autoimmunity explaind the activity of an vitiligo antibody which produced due to the   internal and external Catechol or Phenol quantity in patients body. This antibody attacks on melanocytes cells and  damage them.
